Welcome to Tango Malvern

Sophie's diverse dance background, encompassing classical, contemporary, and various global styles (African, flamenco, oriental), along with her studies in Chi Gung, laid a rich foundation for her deep dive into tango in 1997. She honed her tango skills in Argentina, learning from renowned masters like Gavito and Gustavo Naveira.

Now an established international tango teacher based in Seville, Sophie blends traditional tango with elements of tango nuevo in her pedagogy. She conducts regular classes in Seville and has led courses, seminars, and performances across England, Germany, France, and Spain. Her expertise was recognised at the 2002 Buenos Aires Tango Festival, where she taught and appeared as a guest at the 'Viejo Correo' milonga.
